2005 Future Leaders Cohort
The participants of the 2005 Future Leaders programme worked together to provide a scholarship for the 2007 Future Leaders programme.
They generously made this an 'open' scholarship, which means that no specific criteria for eligibility were applied. The scholarship was was awarded to Mahara Inglis, a young New Zealander working as an Environmental Sustainability Manager.
"Sharing your goodness is the essence of leadership that comes from the heart. That's why our support for Excelerator initiatives is ongoing. We have felt the shift that comes with pursuing a leaderful existence and the resulting desire to plant these seeds of possibility in others. Supporting Excelerator gives us the heartfelt opportunity to assist in shaping an ongoing legacy".
Future Leaders 2005 Programme Participant
A key contribution to this scholarship was made by the University of Auckland Short Courses Department. As a founding partner, the Business School ardently supports all of Excelerator's leadership programmes. Short Courses has a special link with Excelerator as their Director, Darren Levy, is a graduate of the Future Leaders 2005 programme. "This programme has been crucial to the way I lead now and will lead in the future. I have never experienced such a life and mindset changing educational programme in my life".
